over the world, in the highest tower of Lyon, which offers a panoramic view
on the Gauls city.
A Gala dinner will be organised on Tuesday evening, at the conference place in the ditches of the Convention centre. Just after the conferences, we propose you a relaxation early evening, with some acrobats and the visit of the famous Tête d'Or Park and its rose garden, commented by experienced botanists. At the end of the Gala dinner, GAÏMALIS will invite you to a musical trip through dances and songs from Occidental and Oriental Europe from Yesterday and Today: Sweden, Ireland, Medieval Sephardic Spain, Greece, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey... GAÏMALIS is a 7 musician-band from different backgrounds, classic folk, jazz, world music. You can find more information about this band on www.gaïmalis.net or http://www.myspace.com/gayemalis (sorry only a few pages in English for the time being) GAÏMALIS loves melodies and ancient and traditional instruments (from almost) all the continents (Europe, Asia, Africa, South America) After their concert they will invite you to dance and even for those of you who practice an instrument, to play with them. It is essential that Novatech participants interested in participating in this little musical adventure register very quickly at the Novatech secretariat (Lucie DUPOUY - asso@graie.org), indicating which song they would like to play and with which instrument (for organizational issues). We hope that you will respond to this invitation to share dance and music together! |
