Paper / abstract selection:
The selection notification was sent to authors on March 20th; followed by an e-mail with more informations on April 2nd.
Each corresponding author must send back their commitment form by April 10th, if applicable, send the final version of their paper by April
22th .
In total, more than 100 experts were involved in the reviewing process: each paper was proofread by two reviewers and sometime a third. 231 papers were selected for a presentation at Novatech 2019.

Scientific and technical proposals: Urban stormwater management |
Presenting methods or results of research, with a clear link to practical operation or experience, and based on literature studies, laboratory experiments, modeling or field-based studies: innovative technical projects which include an evaluation of performance and performance against criteria, reporting; long term operational experience, comparisons of different strategies, scales and approaches (structural or non-structural); thoughts on governance and keys for change.

Case studies and Awards: |

Urban planning, design and architecture projects; planning and public policies, from precinct to watershed scale. These illustrative presentations will highlight the challenges and opportunities of integrating stormwater management into the urban landscape, combining several aspects (technical, economic, financial, historical, regulatory, social, etc.).

The scientific committee, with the support of several working groups of the IWA/IAHR Joint Committee on urban drainage and of technical and scientific experts, will select the extended abstracts and divide them into oral and poster presentations. The selection will take into account the following criteria:

The selection and distribution into oral and poster presentations will also take into account the consistency of the sessions and the time available. Authors may submit more than one proposal but will be allowed to make only one oral presentation. The paper length is not a criteria for selection.

Conference proceedings: only papers presented at the
conference, oral presentations and posters, are published in
the online proceedings.
Participants will receive a printed version of the abstract compendium at the
conference.
Posters: each day during the conference, the best poster will be awarded.
Novatech Awards 2019: if you are presenting a case study, it is possible to apply to the Novatech Awards. Winners benefit from a strong
communication within technical press partnerships.
